SCARAB Sports will attend the world’s most renowned congress in professional and elite football: the World Football Summit Europe. The summit will take place in the beautiful Andalusian city of Sevilla. SCARAB Sports will attend the WFS as an industry partner. A big demo stand to showcase our technology will be at the center of the exhibition area. Next to the stand our CEO Tanguy Ongena will have a 40-minute talk on how clubs and players know and will know success thanks to technical and cognitive skills. These skills are a coming-up dimension in a footballer’s necessary skillset. Tanguy will dive into the issues the world of football come across today because this specific skill set is not yet standardized in player development. Next up, the SCARAB technology will be explained and how it is a tool to use in the development of those skills.
Next to our CEO, the whole SCARAB team will be present in Sevilla to cover all departments of SCARAB Sports. Matthias Seghers as CTO will be there to support the IT department and network with companies in software technology and AI to bring our software to new dimensions. Oliver Francx as CPO and head of R&D will attend the summit with a focus on sports science and product development. Aiming to discover new features we could add to the product and get more knowhow in football sports science. Our international business developer, Grégory Hertsens will aim on networking with as many clubs as possible to introduce our technology to elite football and create interest in collaborations. He will be supported by our business development advisor and investor Christophe Palmieri.
Last but not least, our marketing and communication officer Jonas Laureys will join us on our trip to the WFS to create great content to share on our digital platforms. People who won’t be there in Sevilla will so be able to join our trip virtually.
